Responsibility:
  • Serve as a strong Business Intelligence reporting analyst with specialty in handling a large volume of customer reporting support.
  • Experienced with interacting directly with customer business areas for their reporting needs. 
  • Additionally, experienced in providing technical expertise for managing a large volume of report data refresh support with use of macro’s and scheduling tools to maximize the efficiency. 
  • A keen eye for detail and ability to be responsive to customer issues. 
  • Continually look for ways to proactively deliver solutions and avoid issues or delays. 
  • Able to interact across various technical teams in managing a data warehouse business intelligence reporting environment. 
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal to provide team and team leaders fully informed and aware of all status or escalation items. 
  • Can be counted on to provide 24 X 7 support for a mature business intelligence reporting environment. 
  • Continually striving to grow knowledge in other business intelligence / data warehouse areas.
Candidate Profile :
Requirements:
  • Specific proven experience working in a data warehouse business intelligence reporting environment as a BI reporting analyst.
  • Experienced and proficient with 1 or more BI reporting tools for reporting and administration.
  • Experience with job scheduling tools such as Control-M and/or Tivoli Workload Scheduler.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understands the core business process and purpose of the functional area.
  • Resolves customer BI reporting issues with work arounds and ideas for longer term solutions.
  • Works with minimal direction.
  • Manages multiple assignments and processes.
  • Prompt management updates and escalation on all project and production support activity status.
